After our visit to the audiovisual fair in Abidjan at the end of last year, OSSOO TV asked us to build a multifunctional and up to date TV studio for recordings of talk shows and game programs.

The recording studio had to contain the following functionalities: a TV studio with 8 studio cameras, a complete studio lighting grid, a crane, an audio and video control room, a technical room with 19″ racks including the necessary audiovisual gear and audiovisual postproduction facilities.

We have worked hard to prepare a dozen of different proposals, but it was clear from the beginning that our professional and personal approach had given the customer ample satisfaction.

The choice of cameras was immediately clear when Black Magic decided to launch a 4K Studio camera with professional B4 lens mounting, the URSA Broadcast.

The fact of using the new video mixer TC1 from Newtek was quite evident. The switcher offers switching, streaming, recording in HD, 3G, and 4K UHD 60p, a comprehensive camera coverage and compelling multi-source video mixing, including 16 external inputs and 4 M/E, a Studio-grade Skype video calling with multi-channel Skype TX software integration, integrated video servers allowing playback, replay, and live editing without any additional hardware, real-time social media sharing to Facebook, Imgur, LinkedIn, Twitter, Vimeo, YouTube, and more

An additional important factor in the workflow was the recording and timing solution from Softron, named Multicam Logger. It allows a user to log all of the different angles (or inputs) used in a live multi-camera production and creates a multicam clip for immediate use in a post production environment.

Multiple video editing suites using the Adobe Suite and Protools for audio post production were linked to each other using a high performance and highly secured centralized storage solution from Ardis (DDP).

For the studio lighting our lighting specialists developed a complete solution based on LED panels.
